It is our first metal detector purchase so unable to compare with other detectors, however, we are impressed with its sensitivity. It has found a large gear to a small rusty nail under ground among other interesting, antique finds. We are starting to learn the meaning of the beeps. Short blips- small item; nail; bottle caps etc. Longer beeps - large or long items. We have not played around with the sensitivity to eliminate metals, but will do that one day. So far it has not failed us and we are really enjoying it. There are lots of interesting historical things buried underground to be uncovered.
